Congratulations to Anthony Virgona and Supreme Motor Works for their outstanding dedication to this project, and the results they have achieved so early in this car’s journey.

A recent outing to Heathcote Park Raceway’s Test and Tune event let us progressively work through this car’s capabilities and ensure driver, hardware and software were cooperating and all was well.

With a first pass off 11.3 and data coming back perfect, we set about making chassis, tyre, and strategy changes to see what the car responded to, and slowly whittled this down to a 10.87@134MPH. Everything performed flawlessly, albeit the Polo-spec intercooler was proving lethargic to say the least

Next up is attending to the lazy 60ft (of which we’ve already made dramatic improvements) to bury this car deeper into the 10’s, a territory of not only the fastest AW Polo GTI in the world, but setting it amongst some of the fastest 2.0T EA888.3 powered FWD’s in Australia.
